Stuff I don't like about iPod

Recently I bought an iPod 40GB. I was very happy with it until I discovered some minor flaws which to me isn't so minor.
  • The iPod won't save all settings. Settings like repeat and shuffle are saved but some settings, like the clicker-wheel audio setting, are not.
  • The iPod firewire-cable is the only cable which fits the charger. I can't use my USB-cable for charging only. Since I want to connect the iPod to my PC using the dock and FW I have to buy a new cable to be able to charge only.
  • The iPod won't shut itself down if I leave it in the dock and turn off my computer. It have happened many times that I turn of my computer at night when I'm going to sleep and wake up finding my iPod all out of power. Really frustrating since I want to listen to music on my way to work!
Apple, wake up and fix these things! A simple firmware-update should be able to take care of at least two of the above mentioned problems.
